Mr Ronnie Mulindwa of the Obsessions Group was quoted as saying that he abandoned his course in Music, Dance and Drama at Makerere because he realised that he was not benefiting anything since he had more plays to his name than any of his lecturers then.

Mulindwa is entitled to his views, but he should not mislead the public, especially prospective students to the rich study programmes and courses offered in MDD at Makerere.

Undergraduate courses at MDD cover theory, performance and production of music, dance, drama, folklore, therapy, decor and design.

A student must meet the minimum requirements for each course s/he opts for. MDD has well qualified, seasoned and experienced staff and instructors who are ready to guide students toward achieving their vision in theatre and the performing arts.
