Kigezi rebuilds old image

IT is 30 years now since Ruhakana Rugunda and Amama Mbabazi, ministers for Internal Affairs and Defence respectively, were at Kigezi High School in Kabale.

IT is 30 years now since Ruhakana Rugunda and Amama Mbabazi, ministers for Internal Affairs and Defence respectively, were at Kigezi High School in Kabale.
It is only sad that the school that one time taught six of today’s government ministers was deteriorating academically each day. And all this was blamed on the strikes in the school.
However, the Kigezi High School old students association is fighting hard to return the school to the glory it once enjoyed.
They have started a campaign to mobilise funds for the school.
The campaign has so far equipped the school laboratory with more than 15 computers.
