The World Bank has earmarked sh88m to fight HIV/AIDS related illness in Kumi district, reports Julius Okwi.
During a planning session in Mukono district, the Kumi district population officer, Joseph Okaali, said the fund would be utilised through community based organisation and individuals.
Joseph Okaali was speaking to district leaders at a workshop on ways of presenting proposals to the Aids Integrated Modules, a US-based organisation set up to fight the HIV/AIDS scourge through anti-AIDS organisations in Uganda.
