SIR — I am glad to know that finally the USA is realising<br>that pursuing her own agenda even against the advice<br>of her closest allies is wrong and that it is worse<br>if it does not go through the United Nations.
SIR — I am glad to know that finally the USA is realising
that pursuing her own agenda even against the advice
of her closest allies is wrong and that it is worse
if it does not go through the United Nations. Recently, during the passing of the new UN Iraqi resolution it was good to note that the USA had to
have the draft redrafted several times just to meet the specifications of Russia, China
and Germany. That is the way to go. If they had behaved like this from the very beginning the mess in Iraq would have been avoided. The moral of this change of heart is that no country is an island.
