TOTAL Uganda has donated fuel to the National Lake Rescue Institute for maritime search and rescue on inland waterways.
Total’s managing director, Leopold Tzeuton handed over the Plus card to Lake Rescue’s national chairman, Elly Karuhanga on Thursday in Kampala.
“The core values of Total are professionalism, respect for employees and a permanent concern for Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and quality. Your efforts in rescuing people are in line with our HSE policy and commitment,†Tzeuton said.
Karuhanga said, “I thank Total for supporting us. This fuel will be used to prepare our compound for construction and the clearing of our marina.â€
