Uganda College of Commerce, Kabale, has suspended three students who threatened to beat up the deputy principal, Sam Nabwana.
Amdan Muhanguzi, Allan Bahandagira and Uziah Kakawa were first arrested by the Police and detained on Wednesday night.
The Police arrested them after they allegedly caused chaos as they resisted eviction from a hostel they had occupied illegally.

Two held over murder

TWO brothers have been arrested by the Police in Luweero district in connection with beating to death a herdsman in Bamunanika county.
Stephen Mugenyi, a businessman in Luweero and his brother Sempijja were arrested while on the run in Kampala.
Police said the incident was sparked off by a missing cow which the suspects blamed on the deceased, Stephen Mwesigye, a herdsman of Mazzi village in Bamunanika. Mwesigye is said to have died of excessive bleeding.

Two men remanded

TWO men who allegedly impersonated Violent Crime Crack Unit (VCCU) operatives have been charged and remanded to Luzira Prison.
Hussein Ssali, 30, a driver and a resident of Mawoto village in Mukono district, and Issa Ssenkyazi, 25, of Kisubi, appeared before Nakawa Court Chief Magistrate Margaret Mafabi and denied the charges.
The suspects allegedly arrested a Police officer, Jabi Serulo, by false pretence and robbed another man of his phone
