THREE buses, a tipper lorry and a commuter taxi were on Saturday involved in an accident on the Gulu-Kampala highway at Barrdugu, four miles from Karuma Bridge in Masindi.

THREE buses, a tipper lorry and a commuter taxi were on Saturday involved in an accident on the Gulu-Kampala highway at Barrdugu, four miles from Karuma Bridge in Masindi.
Witnesses said the accident occurred when the taxi suddenly stopped to pick up a passenger.
Three women and an eight-month old child were taken to Kiryandongo Hospital in critical condition.
A bleeding woman and her child were removed from underneath a Gateway bus, UAF 701N.
Other passengers sustained minor injuries.
Two buses belonged to the Gateway Bus Company and the other was a Nile Coach bus.
