THE third term debate has become controversial because President Yoweri Museveni is the only Movement candidate feared by the opposition, the Rev. Fr. John Mary Waliggo has said.
Waliggo, the Uganda Human Rights Commissioner for the north, was speaking during a workshop on the White Paper in Arua district on Thursday.

Building falls

THE roof of the building housing Gulu district offices collapsed recently, causing the resident district commissioner and the UPDF regional spokesman to flee for their lives.
It houses the RDC, District Service Commission, Special Branch Police and the Internal Security offices.
