The Multi-sector programme foresees direct budget support for investment facilities in the districts as well as capacity building at sub-county and community levels. The Acholi Programme is setting up a Programme Advisory and Community Mobilisation Unit (PACMU) to operate within the Acholi Region to provide technical support, advisory services and training facility to the districts, sub-counties and communities.The unit will work in close collaboration with the Government Departments, the District and Sub-county administrations, local and international NGOs and the local communities.To complete the set up of the unit the Programme is looking for suitable candidates for the following positions:1. One Assistant Chief Programme Advisor (Project Planning, Management, Monitoring & Evaluation) Requirements: Relevant degree in Economics/Management, Social Science or equivalent qualification. At least five years working experience with a reputable institution, computer literate.2. One Computer Expert/Data Analyst (Data elaboration & analysis, mapping, planning & monitoring)3. One Economist (Financial Planning, Monitoring and Training in Financial Management)4. One Social/Rural Development Officer (Community mobilisation, training & capacity building) Requirements: Relevant degree in Natural Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Agricultural/Environmental Economics, Social Science. At least 3 years working experience with reputable institutions.5. One Secretary/Accountant: Relevant diploma or equivalent with at least two years working experience.6. One Driver: Valid driving permit classes F, E and C with at least seven years working experience.All the applicants should be ready and capable to do team work and do extensive travel within and outside Acholi Region. The team will be involved, among other activities, in continuous field research using participatory methods and constant field work.
