VACANCIES - HOME CARE TRAINER/TRAINING COORDINATOR, COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT WORKERS (3)Concern is expanding to cover Mpigi district by this month. To achieve these growth plans Concern is looking for qualified persons to fill the following positions in the new Mpigi project. All positions are located in Mpigi.1. Home Care Trainer/Training Coordinator The Home Care Trainer/Training Coordinator is a middle management position in the organisation reporting to the Programme Manager. The successful applicant will be responsible for coordination and implementation of training programmes. The job requires an individual with the following skills and experience Essential Experience in HIV/AIDS and patient care Experience in home care provision Experience in community facilitation and mobilisation Experience in counselling Experience in organising a training programme Good report writing skills Fluency in spoken and written Luganda Desirable Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences Knowledge of training of trainers Knowledge of nutrition and sanitation issues Ability to work with little supervision and as part of a team Clear motorcycle riding permit with at least two years experience2. Community Development Worker (CDW) Community Development Worker is a critical support position in the organisation, playing the role of community mobilisation and support to selected partners and target groups linking them to the organisation. The job requires an individual with the following skills and experience: Essential Experience in working with rural communities and civil society organisations Experience in working with people infected and affected by HIV/AIDS Good report writing skills Fluency in Luganda and any other Bantu language Willingness to reside in rural communities of Mpigi District Desirable Minimum Diploma qualification in Social Sciences Experience in patient care for infected and affected people/ families Knowledge of community mobilisation skillsConcern offers a comprehensive salary package commensurate with qualifications and experience.
