Ogoro Is Utterly Mistaken About Shaka Ssali And Museveni

SIR— I have read Peter Ogoro’s letter in The New Vision of May 24 in which he claims to express distaste “at the way Shaka Ssali treated the President during the May 15 interview in Washington.”Viewed against the background of what actually took place during the interview in question, one sees a lot of tongue-in-cheek in Ogoro’s utterances. I viewed this interview myself, as did a multitude others throughout the world and, judging from the assessment of most viewers, Ogoro’s assessment is in the dismal minority! Just as I was getting eager to read from Ogoro what journalistic sin Shaka had committed, I was disappointed to read only how Ogoro himself would have conducted the interview!
