Look, nobody talked to me!

SIR— Refer to your story in your Tuesday issue entitled No Work at ESC. The article alleged that the Education Service Commission is paralysed for lack of a chairperson and deputy. The impression that no work can take place is wrong because we have been extremely busy as your reporter would have established had he bothered to check with the Commission.I consider it unethical for a reporter to file an unverified story. The reporter claims to have spoken to Mr. Lubega Waggwa, whose term of office has expired. In what capacity would the latter have spoken on behalf of the Commission?
