Cedric Sebunya struck in the 65th minute before Fred Juma added the second against the ten-man Maji side four minutes later at Nakivubo War Memorial Stadium. It was a double blow for Maji whose defender Haruna Muwonge was sent off late in the game for foul play. Elsewhere, Masaka LC hit Mbarara after the break with a double from Sam Naduli and a goal each from Jimmy Sewankambo and Yasin Mayanja.
