THE charge d’ affaires of the Royal Norwegian embassy has said Uganda is one of the countries still benefiting from the Norwegian Development aid after a reduction of the number of beneficiaries, writes Jude Etyang.
Harald Karlness said when the Norwegian parliament approved the budget for development assistance for the financial year 2002, “the main development partner countries for development assistance were reduced from 11 to seven.â€
Karlness said this recently during the launch of the Training of Trainers (TOT) seminar series at the International Law Institute, Uganda (ILI) on Windsor Crescent in Kololo, Kampala. Ends
