GULU — The out going chairman of Mbale Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Ramathan Wasike, who recently had his home searched by the Police has denied links with LRA rebels. Wasike said his opponents had alleged that he was mobilising Muslim youth to go to Sudan and be trained in rebel activities. On September 25, the Police recovered one licensed gun from his home. He told The New Vision that he was being black mailed by his enemies who allege that he was receiving funds from Hassan Tourabi, a leader of a fanatic Islamic organisation believed to support Kony.
