Man Gets 54-Year Term

THE out-going Masaka Chief Magistrate, Margaret Tibulya has sentenced a 48-year-old man to 54 years in jail after finding him guilty of indecently assaulting three minors including a toddler.

THE out-going Masaka Chief Magistrate, Margaret Tibulya has sentenced a 48-year-old man to 54 years in jail after finding him guilty of indecently assaulting three minors including a toddler.
Ishmael Mukasa, a resident of Mbiriizi town in Masaka was facing three counts of indecently assaulting three children from the neighbourhood.
Court heard that during the month of September this year at Mbiriizi in Lwengo sub-county, Mukasa attempted to have sex with three children aged seven, six, and a toddler of one and half years.
Prosecution said the toddler’s mother caught the man with pants down fidgeting to place his organ into the baby.
She screamed for help and the man was arrested.
The other two girls also reported similar experiences with the same man .
Tibulya convicted Mukasa on the three counts and sentenced him to 18 years each adding to 54 years. Ends
