Roads deal
KAMPALA –Dott Services and Multiplex Company, all Kampala based firms, have won tenders to reseal potholes in the city. The tenders were awarded by the contracts committee of the Central Tender Board recently. The firms are carrying out emergency repairs on behalf of KCC.

Namanve
KAMPALA– The South African High Commissioner to Uganda, Bavumile Vilakazi has said the setting up of the Namanve Business and Industrial Park, will help increase Uganda’s exports’ potential. Especially to the US market. Several South Africans are involved in helping to develop the park.

Abbatoir
KAMPALA – Uganda Beef Producers Association have signed a Memorandum of Understanding with a the OLC Group, a South African holding company. The two plan to build a $15m abbatoir. Samuel Mubiru-Kizito signed for UBPA, while Russell Ashton Chappe sealed the deal for OLC at the UIA headquarters recently.
