MBALE – Five people were sentenced to death on Monday by the High Court for robbery. John Wamanga, Bikwata Nambago, Masoboni Maguma, Pascal Namanga and Alozio Walimbwa were sentenced by Lady Justice Faith Mwondha.

These were convicted jointly for grabing a gun. Court hard had earlier that the accused on 28th Oct. 2000 grabbed a gun from a park ranger, Francis Musoba working with Mt. Elgon national park and tortured him before they fled.who has been presiding over the criminal session which started on 18th November and ended on December 9. Ends
