Mbarara town insecure!

SIR —On behalf of residents of Mbarara town, I call upon the Government to intervene and fight the increasing number of night robberies in MbararaHigh Street. It has turned out to be the talk of the town by residents that the street isbecoming impassable in the late hours of the night because of a ruthless gang of thieves, about 50 in number, who grab handbags from women and mobile phones from men.It was shocking to learn that these bandits have started stealing from people in broad daylight!
