KAMPALA — Nakasero Blood Bank intends to collect 7,000 units in the ongoing blood donation exercise. The exercise, which started on Monday at the Constitutional Square, is slated to end on Sunday. Sarah Mutegombwa, a blood donor recruiter, said the turn up of the donors was very good. She said the blood bank hopes to reach its target of 7,000 blood units, as it has done in the past. “Hundreds of people have come to donate blood since Monday,” Mutegombwa said.Ends
