CHAMPIONS Boks open the 2002 rugby season with an expected thrilling game against rivals Mongers today at Kampala rugby grounds.

Impis II, Sailors and Kampala International University (KIU) have joined seven other established clubs in the shield category.Super six league champions Underwriters Kobs will take to the field next weekend against Makerere Impis.Boks triumphed over Buffaloes RFC in the final last year.Meanwhile, 14 schools will assemble for the second round of the schools sevens circuit at St. Lawrence Creamland Campus today.Favourites St.Henry’s Kisubi will also turn up for the circuit after missing the first round.Namilyango, Progressive and Katikamu SDA were winners of the Main Cup, Plate and Bowl Cup respectively last weekend.r French rugby union chiefs on Wednesday paid homage to England’s “excellence” and said they were excited to challenge it next week at the Stade de France.“England are excellent.
