SIR— I wish to thank the administration and the medical staff of Kasangati Hospital in Nangabo sub-county, Wakiso district. Last week, I developed a complication and went to Kasangati Hospital.
SIR— I wish to thank the administration and the medical staff of Kasangati Hospital in Nangabo sub-county, Wakiso district. Last week, I developed a complication and went to Kasangati Hospital.What surprised me most was the fact that I was given the course of drugs free of charge. Isn’t it unbelievable in present Uganda? To be sincere, I had never received free treatment in Uganda in the last 15 years. I would therefore extend my heartfelt thanks to the Government, Makerere University which caters for Kasangati Hospital and those medical staff who are rare to find because of their commitment and kindness.What I noticed, however, was that there is still a demand for the injections and syringes, gloves and medical forms where in most cases the patients have to provide for them.Josephine MaserukaBulamu Zone, Nangabo, Wakiso District
