Gladys Kalema is back in town

Gladys Ndhego nee Kalema is back in this dusty city of ours. Gladys rose to fame when a documentary about her and giraffes being trans-located from Kenya was shown on BBC television. For the past few years she has been holed up in North Carolina working as an intern at a zoo, only returning briefly last year to get married. Since she's been back, she has been spotted tearing round town in a green wildlife NGO double cabin pick-up.
