UGANDA Posts Limited has unveiled a new image, logo and name of ‘Posta Uganda’.
State minister of State for housing Captain Francis Babu unveiled the new look Friday, at a colourful ceremony at the General Post Office.
Babu praised the management for their efforts in improving the company’s image at the function dubbed ‘The Spirit of Change’.
He urged the group to sustain high quality services to satisfy customers.
“Today the post office has become a communication facilitator. Providing a lot more than the traditional postal services
“You must provide impeccable service. You can do best in the business as you have better infrastructure. We want to see Posta in the rural areas. There is even a fund you can access for this purpose. And do ensure confidentiality in the mail,” Babu warned.
Posta Managing Director Tom Kiwewa Ssali said that it was time to offer better services to its customers.
“We found that the time had come for us to migrate from our corporate identity. We need to reform, to be innovative, to improve the quality of service we offer to our customers, to re-energise the company as well as diversify from our traditional business in order to meet the ever changing market needs.
“We have taken advantage of technological advancements embracing new approaches, changing our attitudes and the way we do business going the extra mile to please our customers so as to steer the Post to greater heights” said.
