KAMPALA – Malaysia’s newly-appointed honorary consul to Uganda Nora Mohamad Adnan has advised the Uganda National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (UNCCI) to help bring small agricultural producers together to expand their output for commercial purposes. She said UNCCI as an apex body for commercial activities should also directly be responsible for helping the farmers find markets.

Gin lovers
KAMPALA – The Christmas season promise to be extra special for Ugandans who take gins, as Premier Distilleries, producers of the popular Knock Out Varagi and Extra Dry Gin, have slashed their prices. Mr. V. Bhavanam, the distillery managing director, said they have cut prices for their product by about 7%.
