He said that next will be Med Nsubuga who went to Argentina for professional trials.

KCC pleads
KCC FC has written to National Football League Committee (NFLC) requesting for the postponement of their league match Saturday against Lira based Akol FC. Club secretary Gideon Karyoko said in the letter that five of their key players are in Tanzania for the East African Inter University games.

Vision wins
NEW VISION came from a goal down to pip a Bweyogerere/ Kireka combined side in a friendly. The match played Saturday at City High before good weather saw Bweyogerere/ Kireka’s Lawrence Kityo scoring from a set piece before Patrick Mugenyi and Frenchman Eric Thouvenot scored a goal each for the scribes.

IUIU opts out
Islamic University in Uganda has pulled out of the East African University games that kick off tomorrow in Dar es Saalam University, Tanzania. The sports director Abubakar Ndagi said they had budgeted for sh30m but only sh18m was available. “Finances let us down,” said Ndagi.
