MUK passout January 17

KAMPALA — Makerere University Council has set January 17 for the 42nd graduation ceremony. The council, the supreme decision-making organ of the university, passed the decision in its inaugural meeting on Tuesday. The graduation ceremony was called off in October because most university organs had expired with the enactment of the New Universities and Other Tertiary Institutions Act, 2001.
