KASESE LC5 chairman Yokasi Bihande has said the district is not free from the atrocities similar to those committed by the Allied Democratic rebels

KASESE LC5 chairman Yokasi Bihande has said the district is not free from the atrocities similar to those committed by the Allied Democratic rebels, reports John Thawite.

Bihande said this during a press conference in his office recently. He introduced a nine-year-old boy, whose penis was chopped off in an ADF attack on the boy’s family about four years ago. He said the boy was saved by his grandmother.

“Because of our terrain, our geographical build of Mt. Rwenzori, the valleys and the hills and the hiding places available attract people who wish to cause trouble,” he said.

He said the leadership vacuum and anarchy in the Democratic Republic of the Congo was advantageous for anybody wishing to base there to destabilise Uganda.
