HE survived being lynched but did not escape a 20-year sentence for defiling his daughter.
Justice David Wangutsi recently sentenced Paul Byomere, 45, of Kauga village, Mukono, to 20 years in jail for defiling his daughter in April 1999.
The 13-year-old victim stunned the court in Mukono when she narrated her ordeal.
“My real father, Byomere, forced me into sex several times whenever my mother had gone for prayers on Sundays. He could threaten to beat me if I dared to report him,†she told the fully packed court.
Byomere’s wife said she found her husband defiling her daughter.
