By Vision Reporter EXPRESS and Simba are fighting over who should release international left winger Ibrahim Buwembo to join Turkish second division club, Antuly. The New Vision established yesterday that Buwembo passed trials in Turkey and intended to join former first division side for six months, then cross to top division club, Rizespor. Buwembo's former army side Simba, through secretary Captain Godfrey Muwanguzi wrote FUFA a letter dated January 25 instructing them to release Buwembo and issue him an International Transfer Certificate (ITC). Federation secretary Godfrey Kisekka declined to issue the ITC and sought clarification from Express boss Godfrey Kirumira. "I don't want problems with Express. Simba released him and Buwembo signed for Express," said Kisekka. Kirumira called Turkey and talked to Buwembo and he agreed to fax details of the contract. Ends.
