KAMPALA - The Ministry of Health has hailed the media, community leaders and health workers for their efforts to combat the dreaded ebola pandemic, soon to be declared over.

KAMPALA - The Ministry of Health has hailed the media, community leaders and health workers for their efforts to combat the dreaded ebola pandemic, soon to be declared over. The ministry in its update to the public on the ebola situation in the country on Wednesday said there were only four days left for Uganda to be declared free of ebola. "The last case of ebola was reported on January 16 in Gulu. "On February, 27 2001, Uganda will finally be declared free of ebola," said a statement signed by Dr. J.H. Kyabaggu. Ends
