Lifters train

Twelve weightlifters led by Kassim Mulindwa are training for the East African Senior Championships due March 23-25. The regional competition will be held at YMCA, Jinja. Zanzibar and Kenya will also be at the event that Uganda last competed in three years ago. Uganda Amateur Weightlifting Association (UAWA) secretary Salim Musoke, said a full team of 12 players will enter the competition. "We are allowed to field a full team by virtue of being the hosts," Musoke said. Mulindwa and his colleagues are practicing in three groups in Jinja. Ends
