KAMPALA - Kampala City Council has said it will not pay the sh3bn demanded by SSDM, an Asian company claiming the re-possession of Bat Valley Primary school. Speaking to council members, John Sebaana Kampala Mayor said KCC has been working on behalf of government. SSDM used to run the school before Asians were forced to leave during Amin's time. On their return, they demanded for the re-possession of Bat Valley, Muslim girls and Aghakan primary schools. The SSDM demands KCC to pay what they call loss of profits since 1997. He said council would not meet the claims, since it has not been using the school as a commercial premises. Ends
