By Patrick Oyee THE Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) has released agricultural input kits worth over sh10m to support households affected by civil strife and drought in Lira district. The RDC, Mr. Joseph Arwata, said recently the assistance was channeled through the Uganda Red Cross Society (URCS). He said modalities were being worked out to distribute the aid. Arwata was speaking at the opening of a one-day training workshop for extension workers implementing activities to support disadvantaged households. It was held at the Production Hall in Lira. He said the kits would be given out to the needy and those displaced by rebels. Ends
