Old man embarrassed

By George Abili AN old man in a taxi from Gayaza wished he could vanish into thin air when a rat jumped from bag he was carrying on his laps. By the time he got into the taxi, it was almost full and he was asked to put it in the boot to which he vehemently protested. He was therefore allowed to sit with his bag. After a few minutes, the bag began 'making' funny sounds but the old man was not bothered at all. Then lo and behold! A little rat jumped out of the bag onto a young woman who screamed and clung onto the conductor like her life depended on him. Other passengers burst intolaughter at the sight, and wondered aloud if the old man was a wizard. Ends
