LUWEERO — The Orthodox Church in Uganda has finalised plans to deal with HIV/AIDS victims. The plans come into effect next year, according to Metropolitan Yona Lwanga, leader of the Church. He was presiding over celebrations to mark the Holy Transfiguration at Degeya Orthodox Church on Tuesday. Lwanga said the Pope Patriarch VII of Alexandria, leader of the Orthodox Church in the world, is to visit Luweero, Jinja and Gulu districts next year.
