Ever since the attack on New York’s World Trade Centre and Washington’s Pentagon, there has been a lot of outrage, both in the local and international media, especially on the BBC World Service and CNN. There is no doubt such atrocious attacks were horrendous and uncivilised.
However, I would agree with Oloya that the International community in general and the West in particular, especially the United States, should not stop at sounding war drums only but concentrate on finding out the causes of such attacks and offering the necessary redress.
