By Daniel Saire WITH the Nile Special Super League virtually wrapped up by SC Villa, clubs are already looking for scape-goats. KCC players are blaming it on poor remuneration, while the other contender Express, are blaming the press. Express, who can be said to be the flop of the season if one is to take into account their massive pre-season recruitment that included leading striker Hassan Mubiru, accused The New Vision in particular of bias. Express, Villa and KCC have in turns — depending on performance — blamed the press for their misfortunes. Express secretary Kavuma Kabenge said New Vision was scorning them, and failing to recognise that without the other 14 teams, Villa would not have anybody to compete against and get the points for the title. “You should realise that like in Europe, there are times when clubs perform poorly,” he said. Kabenge said Vision had failed to help the development of football by just praising Villa and merely pointing out other teams weaknesses. ends
