UHA for Uhuru tourney

The competition, scheduled for October 6 at Lugogo hockey stadium in Kampala, is organised by Uganda Hockey Association. UHA general secretary Chris James yesterday disclosed that Kenyan veterans who are also defending champions had confirmed their participation. Entries to the competition have been limited to only eight teams. They include Kampala Ladies Hockey Club, Sadolin Rockets, Wananchi and City Cubs. Several prizes including hockey sticks and equipment shall be awarded to outstanding clubs and players according to a UHA circular released yesterday. ends
