By Ali Mao RESIDENTS of Lira and Pader districts living along the border with Karamoja have demanded that the Government recruits more Local Defence Unit forces to protect them from Karimojong warriors. The residents said they have been living in fear since the Karimojong raid in Katakwi district, where over 20 people were killed. The Lira Resident District Commissioner, Joseph Arwata, told the people to remain calm and concentrate on farming. He said the Government was committed to address the Karimojong atrocities.
