JINJA — Uganda has been hailed for being one of the leading countries in the fight against AIDS. The former Director of Wairaka Technical Institute and a member of the Rotary club of Jinja, John Kirkwood, said Uganda was the only country where the rate of HIV/AIDS infection had dropped. He was recently addressing a seminar on HIV/AIDS infection at Kakindu.
