WAKISO - Headteachers from Wakiso district have asked the Government to stop recruiting untrained teachers for the Universal Primary Education programme. The recommendation was contained in a communique by the headteachers at celebrations to mark the World Teachers’ day in Kiwatule on Friday. “We appreciate the need for more teachers but untrained teachers should be avoided,” it said.
