Oduor set for meet

By William Muwonge KENYAN tennis star, Norbert Oduor, seeking a fourth straight Uganda Open title, will lead the foreign legion at the event due December 1-8. Uganda Tennis Association (UTA) secretary Gideon Karyoko, released the tournament dates yesterday. Action will be at Kampala Club. Karyoko said players from Rwanda and Zimbabwe had also shown interest in the local tennis’ premier event sponsored by Uganda Breweries Limited. “I have dispatched details of the competition,” Karyoko said. Oduor will come along with other top players, including Esther Mbugua, winner of the ladies crown last year. The competition will not have a qualifying round. ends
