Mukono LC5 boss, RDC bid farewell

Former Mukono LC5 chairman Godfrey Kiwanuka Musisi and Resident district commissioner Asadu Lutale on Friday bid farewell to the district officials at the party hosted for them at district headquarters, reports Nicholas Kajoba. The function was attended by Members of parliament and area residents. Kiwanuka was recently appointed RDC Kampala and Asadu lutale appointed to foreign service. Kiwanuka said he saw it necessary to step aside after leading the district for two consecutive terms. “I thought it was necessary to step down and give others a chance to lead the district and my predecessor should start where I ended,”he said. He warned politicians in the district against mudslinging each other, saying this would politically fail them. Kiwanuka hailed President Yoweri Museveni for trusting him by appointing him Resident District Commissioner.
