A MOB in Ntinda on Monday lynched a court broker and beat up five others into comma after suspecting them to be thieves, reports Geoffrey Kamali. The men, commonly known as kanyamas (bouncers), had raided the home of a woman only identified as Paulina, with heavy hammers and machetes at about 5.00am and demolished it. The New Vision learnt that the group had been hired by Nakasero Court Brokers. Kira Road deputy Police Commander David Waiswa said some metallic windows and doors were missing from the house. "It was unfortunate. They went to execute court orders but they did not notify the Police for cover. That was not the right procedure," he said adding that Police would have protected them. Ends
