SC Villa will enter residential camp next week to start preparations for CECAFA club championship in Kenya.

Villa spokesman Edward Luyimbazi told The New Vision that the team would be accommodated outside Kampala. "Villa enters residential camp soon after the New Year, probably January 3, in a hotel outside Kampala for proper concentration. We want to be able to put up a better performance in CECAFA cup," said Luyimbazi. Villa is pooled in group B with El Merreikh (Sudan), Oserian Fastac (Kenya), Red Sea (Eritrea) and National Police Force-FNP (Djibouti). Coach Paul Hasule (Pic left) said: "To be honest, it's a fair draw for us and I plan to battle all the way to the final stages. After winning the cup as captain, I would love to win it as team coach." Villa bowed out at the semi-finals of this year's competition to Rwanda Army side APR. Ends.
