Museveni does not back war – Bidandi Ssali

By Milton Olupot LOCAL government minister Jaberi Bidandi Ssali has said President Yoweri Museveni is not a warmonger as claimed by Movement detractors. He said such people are only trying to undermine Museveni's bid for the presidency. "The warmongers are those who are killing innocent civilians, massacring school children and murdering tourists, and those who sympathise with them," he said. He said Museveni has always been known to champion peaceful resolution of conflicts within the region. Bidandi was speaking at the inauguration of the Nakawa division Movement task force at Naguru Community Centre. The Kampala district task force chairman, Tembo Nyombi, inaugurated the committee. He said Museveni was the best candidate for the presidency but his values needed to be carefully marketed to the local population. The 14-man committee chaired by Edward Sekabanja has Edward Sande as vice-chairman. Ends
