Nakimera sweats it out at Embaga Y’embaata

SINGER Grace Nakimera last Thursday at Bukedde TV’s Embaga Y’embaata show proved that she belongs to the ‘A’ list of artistes in Uganda.

SINGER Grace Nakimera last Thursday at Bukedde TV’s Embaga Y’embaata show proved that she belongs to the ‘A’ list of artistes in Uganda.
She pulled a crowd which could only be compared to Eagle’s Production’s Mesach Semakula. The show kicked off at 9:00pm with performances from several upcoming artistes.
Various artistes like Bobi Wine, DJ Michael, Mesach Semakula, among many others and various celebrities attended the show and were all impressed by Nakimera’s performance.
Nakimera got on the stage at 11:30pm in her trademark tight black pant and a stylish short brown jacket.
She started off with her club banger collaboration with Aziz Azion titled Bagala Ki and took revellers on a musical journey with such songs like Kiva Ku Ki, Onyambanga, Osobola and many others.
The highlight of her performance was Nvawo Naawe.
The song got revellers to the stage. Some competed with Nakimera’s queen dancers, which left her speechless.
Keen on not letting her fans steal the show, Nakimera took off her jacket and competed with some of the fans who had invaded the stage, leaving them sweating profusely.
By the end of the song, which was performed for over 10 minutes Nakimera and all her fans were gasping for breath.
Nakimera thanked the fans for turning up in big numbers and promised that she would continue giving them hot stuff as she has always done.
Nakimera has made a name for herself by producing expensive music videos. Her Oyambanga video was voted as the video of the year, 2010.
Embaga Ye’ Embatta is a popular night for revellers in Kampala. Bukedde TV promotions’ manager, Richard Semakula said the show was growing stronger by the day.
