CIVIL servants should work hard to implement Government programmes, Buwekula County MP Anthony Ssemuli has said.
Speaking during Heroes’ Day celebrations in Mubende recently, Ssemuli said the 2011/2012 budget aimed at improving the lives of the rural poor, but the biggest role in its implementation was to be played by local government employees.
“The Government has injected money in different sectors. You must put in more effort to serve the people,†Ssemuli said.
He urged civil servants to cooperate with political leaders to effectively serve the voters.
