RASHID Kassim believes he has prepared well enough to beat Ivan Byekwaso in today’s Musclemania Africa natural fitness championship due in Kampala, at Theatre La Bonita.

The middle-weight body builder has for the past four years been beaten by Byekwaso in the same weight category at different competitions. “After preparing well this time around I have to win this contest,” Kassim vowed.

The contest that has attracted forty foreign entries will also have Ben Lukwago, Sam Kalema, Almansi Kajjumba and Kenneth Ssekiranda.

Africa Kick-boxing champion Moses Golola Golola will this time show case his talent in the Muscle modeling contest.

Uganda’s East Africa Ms. Bikini champion Mollet Kabuwo wants to use this opportunity also to qualify for the world championship.

Lisa Ncetani (South Africa) and Shaherah Jordan (England) in (Figure), Doreen Heath and Mollet Kabuwo (Bikini), Wilson Munene (muscle model) and Antwaun Smith (US) (body building) are some of the other top competitors to look out for. The top three in each category automatically qualify for the Muscle-mania World Championships due in Las Vegas in November.
